The Society hosts major gatherings for members and guests twice a year.


The much -anticipated annual Holiday Dinner is held on the second Saturday of December in the Grand Ballroom of The Waldorf=Astoria in midtown Manhattan. Traditionally, the Governor addresses the gathering, along with the year’s honorees. Tickets may be acquired by contacting the Society office.

The One Hundred Sixteenth Annual Dinner of The Pennsylvania Society will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2014, in The Grand Ballroom of The Waldorf=Astoria in New York City.


The Annual Meeting and Luncheon occurs every spring and is held at varying places of interest throughout the Commonwealth. This has included the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Duquesne Club in Pittsburgh, the historic Gettysburg Hotel, John Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh, Hershey Country Club, the Bayfront Convention Center in Erie, Lancaster County Convention Center and the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. Attendance is by invitation and reservation.

The 2014 Annual Meeting and Luncheon will be held on Friday, April 25 in Allentown.
