	EVENTS The Society hosts major gatherings for members and guests twice a year. ANNUAL DINNER The much -anticipated annual Holiday Dinner is held on the second Saturday of December in the Grand Ballroom of The Waldorf=Astoria in midtown Manhattan. Traditionally, the Governor addresses the gathering, along with the year’s honorees. Tickets may be acquired by contacting the Society office. The One Hundred Fourteenth Annual Dinner of The Pennsylvania Society will take place on Saturday, December 8, 2012, in The Grand Ballroom of The Waldorf=Astoria in New York City. ANNUAL MEETING AND LUNCHEON The Annual Meeting and Luncheon occurs every spring and is held at varying places of interest throughout the Commonwealth. Most recently this has included the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Duquesne Club in Pittsburgh, the historic Gettysburg Hotel and the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts in Harrisburg. Attendance is by invitation and reservation. The 2012 Annual Meeting and Luncheon will be held on April 27, 2012 in Lancaster at the Lancaster County Convention Center.
