	EVENTS The Society hosts major gatherings for members and guests twice a year. ANNUAL DINNER The much -anticipated annual Holiday Dinner is held on the second Saturday of December in the Grand Ballroom of The Waldorf=Astoria in midtown Manhattan. Traditionally, the Governor addresses the gathering, along with the year’s honorees. Tickets may be acquired by contacting the Society office. The One Hundred Twelfth Annual Dinner of The Pennsylvania Society will take place on Saturday, December 11, 2010, in The Grand Ballroom of The Waldorf=Astoria in New York City. ANNUAL MEETING AND LUNCHEON The Annual Meeting and Luncheon occurs every spring and is held at varying places of interest throughout the Commonwealth. Most recently this has included the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Duquesne Club in Pittsburgh, the historic Gettysburg Hotel and the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts in Harrisburg. Attendance is by invitation and reservation. The 2011 Annual Meeting and Luncheon will be held in Philadelphia in the spring of 2011.
